Failure of a younger adult dependent to hold up the eligibility qualifications in paragraph of this part shall end result in the termination of protection underneath the TYA program. The efficient date of termination shall be the date upon which the adult young dependent failed to meet any of the prerequisite skills. If a subsequent change in circumstances re-establishes eligibility (such as losing eligibility for an eligible employer-sponsored plan), the young grownup dependent could re-enroll for coverage under the TYA program. Retired Reserve members not but eligible for retired or retainer pay must be enrolled in TRICARE Retired Reserve to determine TYA eligibility for their younger grownup dependents.
