Dental lab kits are often considered necessities.
But they can be expensive, especially for a family that relies on Medicaid for dental care.
Here’s how to make a DIY dental lab.
Clean the inside of your mouth and gums.
Clean all surfaces, including the inside and outside of your mouths.
Wash your teeth and gummies with soap and water, and rinse thoroughly with warm water.2.
Cut out the gum and the gum tissue.
Remove the gum, and discard it in a paper bag or a paper clip.
You can also use a toothbrush to remove the gum.3.
Cut the gum into thin strips, about the length of a human hair.
Cut about 2 to 3 inches of each strip.4.
Apply a paste of powdered dentifrice, such as a powdered gelatin, to each strip of gum.5.
Put a thin layer of dentifrin over the gum to help prevent the gum from sticking to the mouthpiece.6.
Take a piece of dental floss and cut a small hole in the gum strip to allow air to pass through.7.
Insert a toothpick through the hole and push a toothpaste solution into the toothpaste cavity.8.
Insert the floss through the gum in the direction of the toothpick and press it into the gum tooth.9.
Continue to press the flix into the cavity until the toothfloss has dried.10.
Apply the dentifric acid to the inside side of the gum with a tooth brush, and then rub on the gum surface to seal the gums mouthpiece together.
The result: A beautiful, functional dental lab set up that’s very easy to assemble and maintain.
