Posted September 20, 2018 04:15:52The Midwest Dental Program is an important part of the dental program at Northwest Community College, said Dr. Karen DeBakey, a medical director.
The program is designed to address the dental health needs of students and faculty members in Northwest Community’s dental health program.
DeBakesy said the program is made up of dentists, dental assistants, and students who have received dental school diplomas or advanced degrees.
Dentists and dental assistants are on a first-come, first-served basis, she said.
Students will have to be enrolled in the program by Sept. 18.
They will be able to take part in two types of dental care: a dental cleaning service and a dental hygiene service.
Students can be offered both services, which can be a benefit to students who do not have access to a dentist.
The dental cleaning services include a cleaning brush, toothbrush, dental floss, and toothpaste, DeBakers said.
The dental hygiene services include toothbrushes, mouthwash, mouth gels, tooth paste, mouthwashes, and dental flasks.
Students can also be enrolled as part of a dental program.
This program offers an internship and allows students to earn a certificate and receive tuition discounts.
“Our dental hygiene program is focused on helping students learn about dental hygiene and oral health,” DeBaker said.
“Students can learn about oral health through a dental education, dental hygiene, and the dental hygiene internship.”
Students also are able to work as interns and work in their area of interest, including in the community and with dentists.””
Dentist services are available during the week for students who need them, and during the month, students are offered the opportunity to work with an intern on a daily basis.

It is a unique opportunity to have dental health care that is affordable and accessible to students,” DeBsays said.
Dentistry is not a career for everyone,” she said, “but students who are interested in dentistry and are ready to learn about the profession and its challenges will find a great program.””
The dental hygiene programs offer dental hygiene instruction and also dental hygiene training,” DeBaekys said.
