Rodeo dental health insurance is no longer available for the average US dentist, and even more so for those with the least expensive options, according to a report from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
For dental patients who make too much money to qualify for dental insurance, the situation is worse.
The report, which analyzed health insurance coverage for dental professionals, found that the average cost of dental care in 2016 was $1,078, while those who made between $30,000 and $100,000 received $1.1 million.
But the gap between the richest and poorest people was much greater.
“While the top 1 percent of earners are paying the highest premiums, those with less than 1 percent incomes are paying even lower,” said Katherine McGlone, director of research at the Kaiser Foundation.
“In a country where more than half of dental income comes from Medicaid, these people are the ones who are most vulnerable to having their benefits cut.”
The report found that nearly 60 percent of dental patients earning between $60,000 to $100 in the US did not have dental insurance.
While the Kaiser report says that dental coverage is more available for lower-income Americans, it is not clear how many of those people actually qualify for coverage.
Some experts say that dental benefits are not as good as they should be because of changes to the dental insurance market in the early 2000s.
Since then, the average dental benefits for adults have fallen sharply, and there are now about 50 million Americans who do not have insurance coverage.
Insurance companies, which have lost hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue as a result, have also made the dental health care market less affordable for lower income Americans.
Insurers are still required to cover more preventive care and dental care, but the costs are much lower for lower incomes.
A 2015 report from Kaiser said that while the average costs for dental care for low-income adults are not great, they are about the same as they were 10 years ago.
It also found that dental insurance premiums have increased at about the rate of inflation, and some of those costs are borne by people with less financial resources.
Even if a person has health insurance, they still have a hard time buying dental care.
There are no dental insurance plans offered by private companies, so many consumers rely on family and friends.
To help pay for dental costs, a growing number of Americans are turning to online health insurance companies.
People with more disposable income also increasingly turn to online dental coverage.
For example, an increasing number of people are choosing to pay for their care using insurance that is offered through online dental providers, like Cigna or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana.
According to the Kaiser Health Tracking study, the number of US adults who say they have insurance has increased by more than 60 percent in the last decade, and the average monthly premium has increased from $250 in 2000 to $8,200 in 2018.
The report also found some problems with insurance for dental workers.
More than half the dental professionals surveyed were required to use a government dental plan to pay dental expenses.
The average monthly fee for the first-time fee, which includes a visit to a dentist, is $100.
